The Dublin Horse Show is one of the central events of the 2013 Gathering. The Show is Ireland’s largest equestrian event, and one of the largest events held on the island. Following his sell out Shows in 2010, ROD STEWART has confirmed he will return to Ireland in 2013 to play the RDS Arena Dublin on Saturday 29 June as part of his ‘Live The Life’ Tour. During Rod Stewart’s iconic five decade-long career, he has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scored countless hits, earned 18 Grammy nominations – winning one for ‘Stardust – The Great American Songbook: Volume III’ – and in 2007 was bestowed the prestigious CBE title by the Queen. A two-time US Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Rod first made himself heard in the early 60’s with Long John Baldry, Steampacket and Shotgun Express, as well as his seminal work with Jeff Beck and the Faces.
