The 44 dublinbikes stations are distributed throughout the city centre to enable easy access and optimal use. Located in close proximity to each other, every station has a minimum of 15 stands in situ making it easy to enjoy the dublinbikes service. Gardiner Street Dublin has a dublinbike station at Mountjoy Square, allowing visitors to Gardiner Street to access Dublin City in a healthy fun way.
dublinbikes is a self-service bike rental system open to everyone from 14 years of age. With 44 stations and 550 dbs (bikes), it enables you to travel through the city centre, commute between home and work and get out and about to enjoy Dublin city at your leisure.
All stations are equipped for Long Term Hire Card and 3 Day Ticket users. 15 of the 44 terminals allow you to purchase a 3 Day Ticket. Once purchased, you can use the 3 Day Ticket similar to the Long Term Hire Card to rent or return a db from any station in the network.
You can enjoy the many benefits of a Long Term Hire Card for just €10. A 3 Day Ticket costs €2. The first 30 minutes of use is free on every db. After this first half-hour, a service charge applies.

If your journey takes more than 30 minutes, a service charge applies which is debited from your dublinbikes account if you have a Long Term Hire Card or from your credit card if you have selected a 3 Day Ticket.
There is a terminal at every station. All 44 terminals accept a Long Term Hire Card and a 3 Day Ticket. 15 of the 44 terminals have credit card facilities enabling you to purchase a 3 Day Ticket.

Terminals at 15 of the 44 terminals have credit card facilities to purchase a 3 Day Ticket. Remember you must subscribe online for a Long Term Hire Card.
The stands are used to secure dbs by means of a locking system specifically designed for the service.
When you return your db, an audio signal of 2 beeps and green indicator light will confirm when you have successfully locked the db into the stand. In the event of a problem, contact the Call Centre on 1850 777 070.
